Huntington College of Health Sciences is the first distance learning nutrition college accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), which is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

Authorization Statement

Huntington College of Health Sciences is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission, www.state.tn.us/thec/postsecondary.html, which requires the following statement: "The authorization of each school must be renewed each year and is based on an evaluation by the standards concerning quality of education, ethical business practices, health and safety, and fiscal responsibility."
