Undergraduate Financial Information

Application Fee
Every admissions application for a HCHS diploma program, undergraduate degree program or graduate program must be accompanied by a $75 non-refundable application fee. If an applicant is denied admission to the college, the $75 application fee will be refunded. 

Enrollment Fee

Students will pay a one-time enrollment fee. The enrollment fees are as follow: Undergraduate degree program - $200 USD; Diploma program - $100 USD; Individual course - $50 USD. A full refund will be made if the student is denied enrollment or cancels within five days after the enrollment agreement is accepted. After five days the enrollment fee is non-refundable.

Undergraduate Tuition Schedule

Tuition payment is due upon submission of the enrollment agreement into an individual course, a diploma program or a degree program. Tuition must be paid in U.S. currency, by check, money order, or credit card.  Tuition must be paid on an individual basis for each course you are currently taking (e.g., pay the tuition for one course if you are taking only one course at a time, or for two courses if you are taking two courses at a time).  If you prefer, you may pay your course tuition in 2 equal monthly installments interest-free. Enrollment fees are due with the first payment.

 

Diploma Program $3,582

Comprehensive Nutrition, Dietary Supplement Science, Sports Nutrition, Women’s Nutrition, and Small Business Management.

18 credit hours are required for completion of a diploma program.  If approved, a student may transfer a maximum of 6 credit hours toward satisfying requirements of a diploma program.

 

Associate of Science in Applied Nutrition Degree Program $12,139

61 credit hours are required for completion of an associate’s degree. Depending upon the amount of transfer credit approved, a student may be required to take 34 (this includes credit by exmaination, transferred credit and prior learning experiences) to 129 semester hours in order to graduate.

 

Bachelor of Health Science in Nutrition Degree Program $25,273

129 credit hours are required for completion of this bachelor’s degree. Depending upon the amount of transfer credit approved, a student may be required to take 34 (this includes credit by examination, transferred credit and prior learning experiences) to 129 semester hours in order to graduate.

 

Tuition Schedule

The per course undergraduate rate for students formally enrolled in a diploma or degree program is $199 per credit hour.

Textbook Cost

The costs of textbooks are not included in the quoted tuition. Students may purchase textbooks from a vendor of their choice. For a complete list of textbooks contact HCHS at 865-524-8079.
