Graduate Financial Information

Application Fee

The admissions application for a HCHS graduate program must be accompanied by a $75 non-refundable (except in the case of denial of admissions) application fee.

Enrollment Fee

Students will pay a one-time enrollment fee. The enrollment fees are as follows: Graduate degree program - $200 USD; Individual course - $50 USD. A full refund will be made if the student is denied enrollment or cancels within five days after the enrollment agreement is accepted. From five (5) calendar days after midnight on the day on which the enrollment agreement is accepted and until the time the college has received up to 25% of completed lesson assignments from the student, upon cancelation, the college is entitled to retain the enrollment fee not to exceed $100. After 25% of course completion, the college will retain the full enrollment fee up to $200.

Graduate Tuition Schedule

Payment is due upon submission of the enrollment agreement for an individual course. Tuition is payable for one course at a time and should be paid at the time of each course enrollment.  Tuition must be paid in U.S. currency, by check, money order, or credit card. If you prefer, you may pay your total course tuition in 3 equal monthly installments interest-free. Enrollment fee is due with the first payment.

Master of Science in Nutrition Degree Program  $13,616

37 credit hours are required for completion of a MS in Nutrition degree. Depending upon the amount of transfer and/or experiential learning credit approved, a student may be required to take 19 to 37 semester hours in order to graduate.

Doctor of Health Science in Integrative Healthcare Degree 

Clinical Nutrition Concentration                                                       $22,816**

Sixty-two credit hours are required for completion of a doctorate degree.  Depending upon the amount of transfer credits, a student may be required to take 53 to 62 semester hours in order to graduate with a Doctor of Health Science.

Personalized Concentration                                                               $22,448**

Sixty-one credit hours are required for completion of a doctorate degree.  Depending upon the amount of transfer credits, a student may be required to take 52 to 61 semester hours in order to graduate with a Doctor of Health Science.

Tuition Schedule

The per course graduate rate for students formally enrolled in a degree program is $368 per credit hour. 

Other General Service Fees

  • Late fee (on monthly payments):  $10
  • Reactivation fee:  $50
  • Returned check fee:  $25
  • Extension of Time fee (12 weeks):  $50
  • Transcript fee (no cost for first transcript request):  $5
  • Prior Learning Assessment $250 Credit by Examination:  $250
  • Final Exam through Remote Proctor (cost is per exam):  $15

Fees must be paid in U.S. currency, by check, money order or credit card. Note that tuition and fees are subject to change. Students will be notified prior to any tuition modifications.

Textbook Cost

The costs of textbooks are not included in the quoted tuition. Students may purchase textbooks from a vendor of their choice. For a complete list of textbooks contact Huntington College of Health Sciences at 865-524-8079.
